The Ramsey Public Library is seeking an individual who likes working in a library setting and enjoys organizing materials. This position is open to high school students and college students as well as adults.
Primary Responsibilities:
Shelving books and other materials back onto shelves
Shelf reading and ensuring that items are in order on shelves
Shifting books and other materials as needed
Particular focus for this position will be shelving and shelf reading in the children’s room
Helping to make sure library shelves are orderly, organized and clean
Possible Other Responsibilities:
Assisting in the preparation of crafts for arts and crafts classes at the library
Physical Requirements:
Ability to regularly bend to reach lower shelves
Ability to lift small stacks of books and other materials and push full shelving carts
Schedule and Salary
10-15 hours per week, $15.49 per hour
Hours are flexible, shifts in the morning, afternoon, evening and on Saturdays are available
