Friends of the Library
Friends of the Library groups play a vital role in building, shaping, and strengthening the value of one’s community. They are a dedicated group of volunteers committed to keeping libraries great.
Friends are involved in fundraising, advocacy, volunteerism, public awareness campaigns, literacy programs, and more. By becoming a Friend, you are helping to ensure that your library and all the programs it supports will continue to thrive for generations to come.
If you do not see a Friends group listed for your town, contact your local library and speak with the library director about how you can get involved or start a Friends group.
Annual Friends Breakfast
Each year, the Friends of the Library groups come together to celebrate the accomplishments and successes of one another and support the education of promising future librarians.
